Expertise in communication further strengthened
93 percent of candidates successfully passed this year's federal examination for communications managers. Last year, the figure was 86%. The graduates of both years were presented with the highest award in the Swiss communications industry at a ceremony in Lucerne.
In 2021, the 14 candidates successfully demonstrated the knowledge they had intensively learned and acquired over the course of a year in the higher professional examinations - in the previous year, there were seven. They now have the necessary professional and leadership skills and knowledge to shape corporate communications competently, credibly and successfully, writes KS/CS Communication in a statement.
Two women at the top
Once again this year, the best performance was achieved by a woman. With an overall grade of 4.9, Manuela Schlumpf, Managing Director at Vincent & Partner. solved the tasks best. She was closely followed by Tabita Walther, an employee in the communications department of the Canton of Basel-Stadt. The average grade of all successful graduates was 4.4.
Last year, Miriam Dibsdale of Smart Media Agency and Devi Geigenfeind of Fadeout earned top marks with an overall score of 5.3.
Practical diploma theses
Passing the written exam was not the only requirement for graduation. The aspiring communications managers also worked on a thesis, which they presented to the experts during the oral examinations. In addition to many exciting projects, the associated practice-oriented expertise stood out in particular.
The next written examinations for communication leaders will take place at the end of August, and the oral examinations at the beginning of October 2022. The closing date for registration is April 11, 2022.
