Eyekon: New website for Zurich Airport
Zurich Airport is unveiling a completely revamped website. The agency Eyekon is responsible for the project.
The completely renovated Website is aimed at a broad, international audience and receives almost 400,000 visitors per month. For the new website, the airport and corporate divisions have been brought together in a uniform and modern design. The regional, national and international importance of Zurich Airport as a hub for aviation, work, leisure, trade and sales is now underlined by an integrated, high-quality web platform tailored to the many user groups.
Eyekon won a pitch against the competition and is responsible for the structure, design and client-side programming. In addition to a comprehensible structure and usability, the focus is also on clearly addressing the various target groups: Zurich Airport's high operational quality standards should also be tangible in all facets on the website. The server-side programming and implementation of the CMS based on Sitecore was carried out by Namics.
The wish to be even closer to the users was also fulfilled. The existing content has been supplemented with editorial contributions. These are intended to inspire users to explore Zurich Airport online and take a look behind the scenes with interesting background reports and important additional information.
