Euro RSCG Zurich: Great pictures for great feelings

The Zurich Chamber Orchestra presents its new season program. The new visual appearance introduced a year ago has been further developed.

The current program booklet becomes a stage for the musicians of the Zurich Chamber Orchestra and is intended to show them as they have never been seen before. Based on an image concept by the long-standing ZKO agency Euro RSCG Zurich, artist and photographer Peter Hebeisen has created a series of portraits that focuses on the musical performance. The photographs show musicians with traces of light - but no instruments.

The musicians were photographed in the actual position in which they are holding their instruments. The instruments were later removed by retouching. The traces of light were each taken from a further photograph, for which the musicians wore LEDs on all 10 fingers. During the exposure time of a few seconds, they played a passage from a personally selected piece.
