Successful start for Donate A Plate

Through its porcelain bowls, the “Donate A Plate” charity campaign is raising awareness for women with breast cancer. In its first year, over 900 of these limited-edition designer pieces were sold.

Donate A Plate supports women with breast cancer with unique porcelain bowls. Four Swiss artists were allowed to design the first edition, and their colorful works have been available in the online store and selected stores since October 2012 (Werbewoche.ch reported). Each bowl sold will generate a donation of 15 francs for the cancer charities mentioned. The partial proceeds from the 900 bowls sold so far will make a total donation of 14,000 francs possible, according to a press release.

The 2012 porcelain bowls are still available for 44 francs at Donateaplate.ch available. Preparations for the new 2013 edition are already underway - sales of the second edition, which will be presented by four new artists, will start in October. The Zurich agency Gremlich Fatzer Partner is responsible for the concept and overall communication.
