Epica Awards: Shortlist 2015 announced
The shortlist for this year's Epica Awards has been announced. As many as seven Swiss agencies have a chance to win awards next week.
4000 campaigns from 75 countries were submitted for the Epica Awards this year - 5 percent more than in 2014. The entire Shortlist can be viewed at this link. According to General Manager Richard Fuehrer, the countries Germany, Canada, Turkey and the USA were particularly successful in submitting entries - as were Lebanon, Romania, Spain and Japan. But as is often the case, the Swiss creative sector does not have to hide either: With FCB Zurich, Havas, Leo Burnett (2x), Publicis (4x), Ruf Lanz (4x), Stories and Wirz (2x), no fewer than seven Swiss agencies can be found on the list of finalists. Campaigns that narrowly failed to make the shortlist will nevertheless be printed in the annual Epica book (September 2016). Who will win this year's awards will be decided by representatives of trade media from around the world from November 16 to 18 in Berlin. Among them, along with titles such as Adweek and Lürzer's Archive, is Werbewoche again this year. (hae)
