A French solution for Havas?

Advertising company The French advertising holding Publicis is reportedly considering a takeover of its competitor Havas, the Financial Times has learned from people close to Havas shareholder Vincent Bolloré. "Publicis is lobbying in the Paris financial district for an internal French solution so that no foreign group puts its hands on Havas," said a confidant of the financial shark, who has bought up around 15 percent of Havas shares in recent weeks.
