A new head of communications for the Schwyz cantonal police force

Roman Gisler will become the new police spokesperson for Schwyz, replacing Florian Grossmann, who will retire after more than 43 years with the police.

The new head of communications at the Schwyz Cantonal Police is Roman Gisler. The 44-year-old will succeed Florian Grossmann at the beginning of 2024, when he will retire after more than 43 years with the police.

Roman Gisler graduated from the Central Switzerland Police School in 2001 and subsequently held various positions in the security police, as the Schwyz Cantonal Police announced on Thursday. He currently works as a clerk in the communications department.

Already at the end of October last year, there had been a change in the communications department of the Schwyz cantonal police: David Mynall had his last working day as media spokesman after 14 years. (sda)
