Draftfcb/Lowe Zurich has an open ear for John Cage

To mark the 100th anniversary of John Cage’s birth, the Rigiblick Theater has dedicated a special happening to the artist. Draftfcb/Lowe Zurich is handling the current campaign for the event.

According to the agency, the campaign is inspired by subtle auditory experiences and Robert Rauschenberg’s «White Paintings.» The «White Paintings» also influenced John Cage’s piece «4'33''.» The campaign will be featured in both print and online media.

With more than 250 compositions—many of which are considered key works of New Music—John Cage is regarded as one of the world’s most influential composers of the 20th century. To mark the 100th anniversary of his birth and the 20th anniversary of his death, the Rigiblick Theater is dedicating a special happening to this exceptional talent, featuring a performance and a gourmet spectacle. Together with the Tzara Ensemble, Dominik Blum, Catriona Bühler, Daniel Rohr, Margrit Schenker, and many others, his boundary-pushing body of work will be brought back to life.

Person in charge at the Rigiblick Theater: Daniel Rohr (theater manager), Brigitta Stahel (deputy theater manager). Responsible at Draftfcb/Lowe Zurich: Dennis Lück (ECD), Tizian Walti (Concept/Copy), Stephanie Lang (Senior Art Director).
