Doodle with international campaign for the World Cup
Online scheduler Doodle is stepping up its marketing efforts for the start of the World Cup in Brazil with a Doodle game schedule.
The Zurich-based company presents under Wm.doodle.com a special match schedule to arrange an evening of soccer with friends. This World Cup special is being promoted throughout Germany, Austria, and Switzerland with a five-figure Twitter campaign and a media partnership with the live web TV provider Zattoo. A further cooperation in France with the online offering of the Express-Roularta publishing group completes the international package of measures with which Doodle intends to further drive the growth of its appointment-finding service.
"No matter where in the world: anyone who needs to make an appointment should automatically think of Doodle right away - that's exactly our goal," said Doodle CEO Michael Brecht, describing the web company's ambitions in a statement on Wednesday. "Doodle is just as suitable for professional appointments as for private appointments. Communicating this enormous benefit in a striking way is the core of our international growth offensive. Doodle's World Cup planner is a good example of how we show in a very concrete way that scheduling can even be fun with the right tool."
