Born Adolphe Jean-Marie Mouron in Russia, the poster artist established himself in Paris in the 1920s under the name Cassandre. His posters reflect his fascination with the "beauty of modern life". In order to attract attention in the fast-paced city rhythm, Cassandre developed special laws of effect for his posters with unusual angles and montages. The exhibition runs until March 15, 2004.
