Everyone has experienced it before. You've been looking forward to your planned city trip for weeks. But as soon as you arrive at the hotel, the moment of horror follows: the room is the last place to stay. 50 years of Novotel, Jung von Matt/Limmat is taking this experience to the extreme and installing an escape room in the Novotel Zurich City West. The ROOM67 is based on the style of a run-down motel room and is full of tricky puzzles and brainteasers. To crack the door lock, all tasks must be solved within 60 minutes. Once you have been trapped in ROOM67, you will appreciate modern and clean hotels much more. And whether you manage to escape or not, ROOM67 offers team puzzle fun that brings people together in a very original setting.
"The ROOM67 is intended to show with a wink why the brand slogan is "It's a lot better at Novotel". Since the first opening in 1967, we have constantly reinvented and improved ourselves. Today, thanks to a comprehensive rebranding, Novotel is a contemporary brand with a universal service offering," explains Monika Stadler, VP Operations Midscale Hotels at AccorHotels Switzerland, adding that Novotel has had a new branding, design and service concept since 2015. With the new service concept, which focuses on a relaxed, solution-oriented and flexible guest experience, Novotel stands for a state-of-the-art brand of the AccorHotels Group.ROOM67 is open to the public at the Novotel Zurich City West location for at least one year. Jung von Matt/Limmat is responsible for the idea, concept, implementation and communication offensive. The launch will be accompanied by comprehensive owned, earned and influencer marketing measures.
