Only one ad can do that: The winners
The grand prize winners of the “Das kann nur ein Inserat” contest are, for the first time, a team from French-speaking Switzerland with a campaign—and a young agency owner with a single ad.
You can twist and turn it however you like: an advertisement is always a good idea. David Moret and Gaël Tran have put this basic advertising insight into practice in an amazingly simple and surprisingly new way - and created a series of three ads that you have to hold between your fingers and turn in a very specific way. Because only then can you read the text. The jury's verdict: 1st place and two tickets for the creative team from Euro RSCG Genève.
The best single subject is an advertisement that is also perfect for a playful approach - with a choice of five variants. The idea came from Silvio Seiler, who was already on the winner's podium at Das kann nur ein Inserat 2009 and recently opened his own agency in Schwellbrunn AR. Silvioseiler.ch operates.
Two further ideas for campaigns and individual advertisements made it onto the shortlist - and three of them onto the winners' podium.
- Individual ad idea "Are you interesting?" by Daniel Gremli (concept designer) and Richard Wegele (art director), both Webguerillas, Zurich
- Individual ad idea "The basis of motivation is self-acceptance" by Julien Joliat (graphics apprentice) and Nora Saner (consulting intern), both Inflagranti, Biel/Bienne
- Small ads" campaign idea by Sebastian Eppler (graphic designer at Wunderman, Zurich) and Luca Schneider (graphic designer at Euro RSCG, Zurich).
- Campaign idea "(M)arken" by Marielle Beusch (polygrapher at Leone Ming Est, Liechtenstein)
The fourth idea is not feasible for reasons of equal treatment of all market participants.
Werbewoche was present at the judging. You can read more about this in the Print edition.
