Condor Films: Grand Tour of Switzerland staged
Switzerland Tourism is launching the campaign for the new Grand Tour of Switzerland adventure route with an event film created by Condor Films.
On the Grand Tour of Switzerland, the journey is the destination. Switzerland's new adventure route is a journey of discovery covering 1,600 kilometers through four language regions, over five Alpine passes, to eleven UNESCO World Heritage Sites and two biospheres and along 22 lakes. At the heart of the launch campaign is a modular event film that presents the highlights of the Grand Tour and the regions in the best possible light. The two mountain climbers Sebi and Paul start the film with a humorous link to the previous commercials, before the film focuses on what the Grand Tour of Switzerland is all about: a concentrated load of Switzerland with scenic and cultural gems. The film will be broadcast in two different length versions in Germany and Switzerland and used worldwide as a three-minute version online and at events.

Filming took place for four weeks along the route of the Grand Tour of Switzerland. Together with the actors and the film crew, an Audi 100 from the 1970s and two modern Harley Davidson motorcycles toured Switzerland in style.
Online, moving image communication has a interactive web route to the side. The Grand Tour of Switzerland is prominently presented in print with a summer magazine. The media mix is rounded off with attractive photo series about the route. These were taken by various photographers, including Stephan Schacher and Nico Schaerer. The campaign will be used worldwide. All central advertising materials will be translated into German, French, English, Italian, Spanish and Dutch.
