Marcel Trachsel founded Int/ext Communications in December 1993 and, together with the team, has developed the consultancy over the years into a major consultancy firm for reputation management and reputation risk management in Switzerland. Today, numerous clients rely on the strategic advice and services of Int/ext.

Marcel Trachsel reached official retirement age in the summer of 2023. He will therefore sell his shares to the other partners at the end of the year, who will lead Int/ext into the future. Claudia Bracher Wolfensberger will take over as Chairman of the Board of Directors at this time. Marcel Trachsel will remain with Int/ext as Senior Advisor.

"I am very proud that Int/ext is still operating so successfully 30 years after it was founded. I am now passing the baton to experienced people who have been running the company with me for years and enjoy my full confidence. I wish Claudia Bracher, Martin Huschke and Michael Felber and the entire Int/ext team all the best for the future. As Senior Advisor, I look forward to continuing to actively contribute to the success of Int/ext in my new phase of life," Trachsel is quoted as saying in a press release.
