[Remotepost] rethinks post-production
In the world of commercial and promotional film production, the newly founded post-production company [Remotepost] relies on innovative technologies and optimized workflows. Its full-service approach covers all aspects of post-production.
The post-production company founded by Ari Zehnder, Janos Menberg and Bardo Eicher offers all services for the completion of films, from data copying on set, editing, color design, sound and visual effects to graphics, titles and format adaptations.
Remotepost] places a particular focus on the "picture-unlocked workflow", in which color correction and the sound level are developed at the same time as editing. According to the company, this is intended to enable the simultaneous development of all key areas of post-production, which does not correspond to "traditional processes". "By designing the colors and sound at the same time as editing, customers can evaluate almost finished films at the first approval," explains Janos Menberg, director, colorist and VFX artist.
In addition, the collaboration at [Remotepost] is completely web-based. This enables customers to take part in live sessions to give feedback and follow the progress of their projects. This is designed to encourage more productive collaboration and ensure transparency throughout the post-production process - as well as saving time and money. "I've been working remotely in the field of sound editing for three years," says Bardo Eicher, supervisor and sound engineer. "This has shown that cloud workflows are very popular with our customers."
Thanks to an extensive pool of freelancers in different time zones, [Remotepost] can also respond flexibly to the needs of each project and integrate the right specialists. This ensures that every job receives the best possible support.
