Pxlstrm expands into Asia

The Zurich-based adtech company Pxlstrm is expanding into the Asia-Pacific region. With a focus on Southeast Asia, it is bringing its AI-powered solution for contextual video advertising to new growth markets.

The Zurich-based company specializing in AI-supported video advertising technology announces its expansion into the Asia-Pacific market. Following its market entry in Germany, Pxlstrm is focusing on Southeast Asia and wants to establish its technologies for contextual video analysis and precise targeting there.

With this step, Pxlstrm is pursuing the goal of expanding its global market position. The company's solution uses artificial intelligence to analyze the visual content, language and mood of videos. This results in a high level of data output, which should enable advertisers to place video advertising precisely in brand-safe and content-appropriate environments. According to Pxlstrm, this significantly increases the relevance and performance of campaigns.

"The Asian markets are developing at a rapid pace and users here are very willing to adapt new technologies," says CEO and co-founder Wei Phung. "This creates an ideal environment for us to learn, innovate and refine solutions that will ultimately benefit all our markets."

For its market entry in Asia, Pxlstrm has already recruited its first employees in Malaysia and Singapore - proven adtech specialists with regional industry experience, according to the company.

Pxlstrm was founded as a spin-off of the Swiss company Adello. With its technology, the company aims to offer an alternative to conventional targeting mechanisms, which are increasingly subject to regulatory and technological restrictions. The expansion into Asia is part of a long-term growth strategy.
