Brand as a particle accelerator of artificial intelligence
On Tuesday, BrandTrust hosted its New Year’s reception in Zurich, marking the start of the Swiss branch’s second year. By focusing on the technology topic of artificial intelligence, the management consulting firm once again addressed a current challenge that is on the minds of companies.

Around forty customers, partners and friends of the company discussed with technology brand expert and BrandTrust partner Jürgen Gietl how to deal with rapidly learning machines.
Artificial intelligence (AI) is no longer a topic of the future, but reality. This became clear right at the start at the New Year's aperitif at Zurich's Atlantis by Giardino hotel. "Intelligent robots are already superior to us today - but only in partial areas," said technology brand specialist Jürgen Gietl. As early as ten years from now - according to experts - self-learning machines could outstrip humanity.
The brand accelerates new technologies
In digital assistants such as Alexa, Siri and others, artificial intelligence is no longer hidden in products and services, but has arrived in mass use. Its importance will increase rapidly in the coming years. "When mature technology meets widespread life scarcities, there is a pull that can hardly be stopped," said Gietl. "Brands act as particle accelerators that bring innovation to life for customers." In the discussion that followed, it became apparent that caution is also in order when it comes to the spread of artificial intelligence; after all, natural morality and empathy will remain alien to robots for the time being.
The host of the evening was Tanja Schug. She represents BrandTrust in Switzerland and looks back on a successful first year: "With exciting brand projects in classic industries such as tourism and finance, but also in the areas of real estate and blockchain, we got off to a good start in Switzerland."
