Mediaplus Suisse is an innovation agency for brand-specific media, which is responsible for the entire communication process for clients across all media channels. The new company is taking on a pioneering role in data-driven impact and channel planning and is characterized by an optimal combination of extensive experience from the areas of digital and classic media, according to a statement.

The new company is being set up by the Serviceplan Group Switzerland with the support of Mediaschneider. This means that Mediaplus Suisse will be able to take advantage of the buying power of the largest owner-managed media agency group in the Swiss market from the very first minute, and will also be able to handle very large mandates right from the start.

Urs Schneider, owner of Mediaschneider and joint venture partner, on the new agency: "With Mediaplus Suisse, an independent, outstanding media offering is now established in the house of communication of the Serviceplan Group Switzerland. However, the new media agency also leads to a clearer demarcation of our cooperation with Serviceplan for our agency customers. We owe these agency clients our utmost loyalty for the many years of cooperation."

The Bern-based agency Mediaplus, led by Christian-Kumar Meier and part of the Mediaschneider group, has recently changed its name and no longer operates under the Mediaplus brand. (Werbewoche.ch reported).

Mediaplus Suisse has unlimited access to the global network of the international Mediaplus Group. This has branches in all relevant economic areas worldwide and is the largest independent and partner-managed media agency in Europe.

Cosima Giannachi becomes CEO of the new agency

Cosima Giannachi, the Managing Director of the new agency, worked for WPP agencies for 20 years before joining Serviceplan Group Switzerland - including around 15 years as CEO and Chairman of the Board of Mindshare. She has in-depth communications and media expertise in online and offline media as well as in strategy development for national and international clients from all relevant industries.

She has already been working for the newly founded company since the beginning of the year and is looking forward to the challenge: "By combining market insights, technological know-how and target group-specific creation, we can efficiently align messages with the target groups and different channels. In addition, we already have well-rehearsed and experienced project teams, which support clients not only nationally, but also internationally in all aspects of marketing and communication on a daily basis."

Mediaplus Suisse will take over the entire media business of the agencies in the House of Communication at the start and is ready to handle further mandates with immediate effect, according to the statement.
