Dentsu Creative strengthens its presence in the DACH region
Dentsu Creative expands its team in the DACH region. Following the acquisition of Rckt in August 2023, which as lead agency laid the foundation for the realignment of Dentsu Creative DACH, the company now operates as a unified team in Berlin, Munich, Hamburg, Frankfurt, Düsseldorf, Vienna, Geneva and Zurich.
Through this merger, the existing Dentsu brands Merkle and Videobeat will bring over 140 new employees to the team, bringing Dentsu Creative DACH to over 220 creative minds.
With this strategic merger, Dentsu Creative aims to further consolidate its market position in the DACH region, according to a press release issued on Tuesday. Dentsu Creative DACH will be led by the existing Rckt team around the founders and Managing Directors Karolin Hewelt, Lisa Teicher and Nils Seger, the Managing Partners Paulina Habben and Simon Ueberheide, as well as Kai Wutte, Managing Director Hamburg & Düsseldorf, Mark Burow, Managing Partner Creative Experience, and Michael Schachtner, Chief Creative Officer Dentsu Creative.
"The operational merger of the teams in Germany, Austria and Switzerland - under the strong Dentsu Creative brand - is a clear commitment to our mission: we believe in the power of modern creativity in collaboration with our market-leading services in media and customer experience. The Dentsu Creative leadership team combines the core disciplines for modern and interdisciplinary creative communication solutions for all market-relevant channels," explains Karin Zimmermann, CEO of Dentsu DACH.
Karolin Hewelt, Rckt co-founder and Managing Director, adds: "With this significant expansion, we are setting a new benchmark for creative excellence in the DACH region. Thanks to the synergies within our team and the expansion of our network of locations, we can offer a wider range of innovative solutions and thus meet the requirements of our customers even better."
