Bühler&Bühler designed Ikea Store Tours
As a global company, IKEA bears a great responsibility toward the planet. IKEA explains how sustainable the company is through guided tours of its stores—first for employees, then for the interested public. The Zurich-based agency Bühler&Bühler designed and implemented the visual concept for these IKEA Store Tours.

For over 70 years, Ikea has stood for the vision of combining good and affordable design with sustainability. Since 2009, over 2 billion. Euros have been invested in renewable energies. This can now be seen and experienced thanks to the Ikea Store Tours in Switzerland. On nine different A1 posters and summarized in a folding brochure, visitors learn, for example, that Ikea has converted its entire lighting range to energy-efficient LEDs or that 100 percent of the cotton for its products comes from sustainable sources. The information material, based on large illustrations, is divided into chapters such as Ikea & Customers, Ikea & Production or Ikea & Society.
