Bodin gives EqualVoice initiative a makeover
As part of the international expansion of the Ringier Initiative, Frank Bodin, owner of Bodin Consulting and president of the ADC, designed a rebranding for EqualVoice.
Ringier's EqualVoice initiative expands abroad and is available - with a new logo - as a service for other companies. The main goal of EqualVoice is to give women and men the same voice, as well as to raise awareness of gender representation in the media (Werbewoche.ch reported). The real-time measurement of the EqualVoice factor serves this purpose. Based on this, the discussion shifts from the subjective perception of gender equality in publications to a fact-based discussion. This provides a basis for developing solutions for equal voices in the media, according to a Ringier statement. "Thanks to our technological and publishing strength, the EqualVoice initiative is making an important and resilient contribution to greater diversity," said Marc Walder, CEO of the Ringier Group.
EqualVoice expands abroad
Since March, the EqualVoice Factor has also been measured in the thirteen publications of Ringier Axel Springer Poland. The portfolio of the joint venture of Ringier and Axel Springer includes the portal Onet as well as other media brands such as Business Insider, Newsweek and Forbes Women. The EqualVoice initiative is soon to be rolled out to other Ringier Axel Springer Media countries, namely Slovakia, Hungary and Serbia.
Interest beyond Ringier
Since, according to Ringier, the interest of other companies in determining the EqualVoice-Factor is great, Ringier's in-house developers have created this possibility in recent months: Now it is also possible for companies outside the Ringier Group to have their communications analyzed by the EqualVoice Factor, he said. "I am delighted that we can now offer EqualVoice as a service and thus work together towards the goal of achieving 'equal voices' of women and men," says Annabella Bassler, CFO of Ringier and founder of the initiative.
New appearance
As part of its international expansion, the visual identity of the EqualVoice initiative was redesigned. Pro Bono, Frank Bodin created a compact, versatile logo that reflects the initiative's mission. "The speech bubble with the equal sign shows what EqualVoice wants, namely equal voices for all. The versatility also reflects the initiative's various projects," explains Bodin.
