Arosa Lenzerheide: Alex Fiva becomes ambassador
Reigning ski cross world champion Alex Fiva has been named an ambassador for the Arosa Lenzerheide ski resort and the Lenzerheide vacation region. Having grown up in Parpan and now living in Chur, Fiva is expected to authentically promote the region he knows so well to the outside world.

Just in time for his home appearance, the Arosa Lenzerheide ski resort and the Lenzerheide vacation region announce the recently signed partnership. "In Parpan I made my first meters on skis and took part in the New Year's Eve Torchlight Downhill already at the age of five. In summer, I later competed annually in the legendary Bike Attack, and I also met friends every Tuesday evening on the beach field by the lake for gripping duels. Lenzerheide is simply my home. The fact that I can now act as an ambassador for my home makes me extremely proud," says Alex Fiva about his commitment.
As a local, Alex Fiva knows the ski resort of Arosa Lenzerheide very well. Having already made his first turns here, he can still frequently be found on the slopes in Arosa and Lenzerheide. He thus knows the entire range of offers from the steep slopes to the children's lands and family slopes like hardly any other active Swiss Ski athlete.
Vacation region Lenzerheide in the heart
In addition to his commitment to the Arosa Lenzerheide ski resort, Alex Fiva is also called upon for the Lenzerheide vacation region for various promotional purposes such as shootings, VIP appearances, raffles and more. For the native of Parpine, this is a matter of the heart, he says, he already knows the region inside out since his childhood. "Alex Fiva has already been to the Lenzerheide vacation region many times completely independently of a partnership. He grew up here, lives in Chur and is a member of the Parpan ski club. Therefore, the cooperation is a logical conclusion," says Marc Schlüssel, Head of Marketing of the Lenzerheide vacation region.
