2 x Christmas" campaign by SRK, SRG SSR, Swiss Post and Coop with a new look
The four partners involved in the "2 x Christmas" campaign are moving closer together this year for uniform recognition. The Bern-based agency Gestalt Kommunikation oversaw the rebranding.
"2 x Christmas", a joint campaign by SRC, SRG SSR, Swiss Post and Coop, will take place this year from December 24, 2017 to January 6, 2018. The partners are collecting long-life food and personal hygiene products for people in need in Switzerland and Eastern Europe. The postal parcels can be sent free of charge. While donations in kind benefit people in Switzerland, online parcels are destined for Eastern Europe, where the products are purchased locally.
The Swiss Red Cross, SRG SSR, Swiss Post and Coop are re-communicating the 20-year-old campaign with a uniform logo and a joint key visual. The Gestalt Kommunikation agency has designed the new logo for "2 x Christmas". According to a press release, the aim is to focus on the festive season and the world behind it, which is too often forgotten and comes to the fore here.
"2 x Christmas" opens up access to the abundance of others for the disadvantaged: this is how the logo element should open up, as if cut out of paper and unfolded. Behind it you can see the second layer. Meanwhile, the loop is intended to represent a parcel loop and at the same time the "x" of "2 x Christmas".
