The greeting cards from K.M.S combine moving images and print.People have always been fascinated by moving images. Viewers of films remember the messages they contain for much longer than with pure text formats. With K.M.S. video in print media, perception via the eyes and ears is supplemented by the familiar experience of turning the pages of a high-quality print medium: "Video greeting cards are ideal as an advertising medium for brand communication. Not only do they appeal to three senses - hearing, sight and touch - and thus generate a high level of attention and recognition value. They also arouse emotions in a matter of seconds by surprising, entertaining and astounding," says Tom Knobe, partner of K.M.S. Knobe Marketing Services GmbH, with conviction. The heart of the 4-sided folding card is an integrated video module. By means of a magnetic switch, the ultra-flat TFT color display in the desired format starts playing the stored video after opening the card. Incidentally, K.M.S. allows the client to decide how many minutes of video to store: "There are virtually no upper limits, the size of the memory can be selected individually," says Tom Knobe. Two loudspeakers integrated invisibly into the card ensure that music and speech sound clear. At the customer's request, Tom Knobe's team can also equip the cards with volume controls or keypads for video functions. The video greeting cards are available in various standard formats: DIN long, A5 or A4. The cardboard of the folding cards can be printed with up to 4-C in the individual corporate design and is supplied with UV varnish. The video card's lithium battery can be easily recharged via a mini USB port.
