Bernmobil: Makes passengers smile

Anyone who observes Swiss men and women on public transportation will see the same thing everywhere: sullen faces. Yet, given the many benefits of Bern’s public transportation system, passengers would have every reason to smile.

Bernmobil has taken advantage of this idea for its new service and performance campaign: In a series of subjects, shots of grumpy passengers are juxtaposed with precisely those advantages, such as the elimination of the tedious search for a parking space.

The shots all originate from real life: The unsuspectingly photographed protagonists were asked for their consent after the snapshot was taken. The fact that a surprisingly large number of those asked agreed is proof that our compatriots at least have a healthy dose of self-irony.

The campaign includes numerous motifs and will be seen throughout the year on streetcar trailers, in advertisements and in various accompanying media in and around Bern.
