Seed Takes Home Two Awards at the Vienna Business Film Festival

At the 32nd International Business Film Festival in Vienna, the Zurich-based communications agency Seed won two gold awards—for films created for its clients Tertianum and Geberit. The competition has been held every two years since 1962 and is considered one of the most prestigious international competitions in the field of corporate films.

Gold for Tertianum: Real-Life Stories Instead of Glossy Pictures

The film «Raum für Lebensfreude» (Space for Joy of Life), produced for Tertianum, won the gold award in the promotional films category. In touching personal stories, residents recount how they initially struggled with the idea of moving into a retirement home but ultimately took the plunge—and in doing so, found a new, sometimes unexpected zest for life. The film was directed by Simon Ramseier.

The film focuses on authenticity: no staged promotional images, but real experiences of people who have taken the plunge into a new phase of life. This approach won over the jury in Vienna.

Gold for Geberit: Used Worldwide as a Conference Opener

In the category «Trade Show, Event, and Visitor Films / Conference Openers,» the film “Bringing Design and Technology Together” for Geberit was awarded a gold prize. Geberit used this film last year to kick off a series of customer events around the world. It was directed by Luki Frieden.

Seed is a communications specialist focused on audiovisual media. The Zurich-based company creates and produces films for external and internal communications. Its clients include BKW, ETH Zurich, Geberit, On Running, Rivella, Swiss Life, UBS, and the University of Zurich, among others.
