PR Suisse becomes winner of the Swiss Award Corporate Communications
PR Suisse and the previous organizer of the award have agreed that, starting this year, the Swiss Professional Association of PR and Communications Professionals will assume responsibility for the award, including all trademark rights, for Switzerland’s only corporate communications award.

The takeover is the result of the continuous further development and profiling of the award, according to a press release. On the basis of the new, long-term support from the professional association, the award should gain in profile and appeal to the industry and an interested public in the coming years.
Daniel Bieri will continue to be responsible for the operational implementation and maintenance of the partners and sponsors, thus ensuring continuity and reliability of implementation. Daniel Bieri is the son of award founder Roland Bieri, who will continue to be primarily available to the Supporters' Association.
For stronger anchoring in the industry
For Peter Eberhard, President of PR Suisse, this commitment is entirely in line with the association's objectives, namely to promote the perception and recognition of the profession both within and outside the industry: "We have been supporting the award financially since 2015, as well as by having one board member on the expert jury and one on the organizing committee. Over the past three years, the award has been further professionalized in various ways and has gained recognition - so we were happy to take on the sponsorship so that the award can become even more firmly anchored in the industry. Our professional association has always been committed to promoting quality in corporate communications, and the award gets to the heart of this concern."
This is also key for jury president Peter Stücheli-Herlach: "The quality discussion is thus gaining momentum. In view of the upheavals that the industry is experiencing, this could be very exciting." Urs Frei, Chairman of the Supporters' Association of the award: "Companies and supporters are delighted with these sustainable prospects, as communication will become even more important for society and the economy in the future."
Award initiator Roland Bieri adds: "I am delighted that our development work over the last thirteen years is now being honored in this way. Thanks to the transfer to the new sponsorship, I can look to the future of the award with confidence."
As part of the future development of the award, talks are also underway with other industry organizations with the aim of giving the award an even broader base in the Swiss communications landscape, according to the press release.
