The Graubünden-based communications agency Skipp has reason to celebrate a European award: The website skipp.ch is among the winning sites at the Neuro Web Award 2026. A total of 1,422 submissions from 983 agencies in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland were evaluated—a testament to the neuromarketing-based approach that Skipp has consistently pursued for years.

An award for impact, not just for aesthetics

The jury’s evaluation focused on measurable criteria derived from neuroscience: clear page structure, well-designed user navigation, the sense of trust it instills, and the quality of the digital experience from the visitors’ perspective. In other words, it’s about what is known in marketing circles as neuromarketing—not superficial design, but demonstrable impact.

«For us, this award is a wonderful affirmation of what we work toward every day: Communication shouldn’t just impress—it should make an impact. And it must provide guidance, reach people, and build trust,» says FiFi Frei, CEO of Skipp.

Neuromarketing as a Foundation—Not Just a Trend

Another factor behind the award is the company’s in-house neuromarketing and artificial intelligence lab, which Skipp operates in Fürstenau. According to the company, Skipp is currently the only Swiss communications agency to offer such services. In the lab, communication materials are analyzed and optimized using a scientifically grounded approach before they are put into use. Well-known companies such as Ascona-Locarno and Engel & Völkers, as well as small and medium-sized businesses, are already utilizing this methodology.

A Graubünden-based agency with a national reach

skipp has been operating in Graubünden since 2002 and has been headquartered in Fürstenaubruck since early 2026. This historic village south of Chur—known as the world’s smallest city and a culinary hub centered around top chef Andreas Caminada—provides the setting for an agency that combines tradition and innovation. The agency was founded by Ivo «FiFi» Frei and, since 2013, has been based on the concept of a merged advertising and digital agency, which is now being consistently expanded to include AI and neurotechnologies.
