Highlights of the 2026 Gerety Awards Shortlist

Among the nominated campaigns are «KitKat Heist» by VML UK, «Rooftop Revival» by LePub Singapore, «Full Check Up» by BETC Havas Brazil, «No Project Without Drama» by HeimatTBWA Germany, as well as «Who’s Waiting for You?» for AB InBev by Wieden+Kennedy Mexico, and «If You Can Take It, It’s Yours» for Selleys by Howatson+Company Australia. The most-nominated campaign on the entire shortlist is «Covert Recruiter» by Dentsu Creative France for the French Army’s Personnel Directorate.

The shortlist covers a wide range of topics: entertainment, innovation, humor, socially relevant work, craftsmanship, strategy, and effectiveness are all represented. Global brands stand alongside local challengers, and independent agencies compete side by side with international networks.

First-time shortlist entries: Bulgaria and Tunisia

A notable first for this edition: Bulgaria and Tunisia are represented on the Gerety Shortlist for the first time—a sign of the competition’s increasingly global reach. In total, more than 250 jurors from more than 50 countries participated in the evaluations.

The jury sessions were held in person in London, Auckland, Toronto, New York, Paris, Stockholm, Hong Kong, Dubai, Madrid, Milan, Mexico City, Bangkok, Los Angeles, Berlin, and São Paulo. These sessions determine the shortlist before the Grand Jury meets online to select the final winners.

Craft CUT and the Next Steps

The Craft CUT category has the most shortlist entries. It includes work from all areas of craftsmanship: animation, art direction, cinematography, copywriting, directing, editing, illustration, music, sound design, photography, typography, production design, and visual effects.

The Grand Jury will now select the final winners, who will be announced in the first week of September—including Bronze, Silver, Gold, Grand Prix, and regional winners. Accompanying Shortlist Week are the Global Jury Insights Panels, where jury members discuss campaigns, creative trends, and outstanding work with trade media outlets. In addition, Gerety will release its Shortlist Reel—a curated compilation of the highest-rated shortlisted entries.

As is the case every year, finalists and jurors will be honored at the Gerety VIP Diamond BBQ in Cannes, which will be attended by invited guests from among the entrants, jurors, partners, and friends of Gerety.
