Effie Awards Switzerland 2026: Jury has been determined
More than 80 experts select Switzerland’s most effective marketing campaigns. For the first time, the Effie jury is co-chaired by Lara Jelinski of Dentsu and Daniel Fischer of Swiss Re.

The jury for the Effie Awards Switzerland 2026 has been announced: A total of more than 80 experts from companies, agencies, media, science and research are involved in selecting the most effective marketing communication campaigns in Switzerland. The Effie Awards Switzerland are organized by Leading Swiss Agencies, the association of Switzerland's leading communication agencies.
Co-Presidency of the Effie Awards Switzerland 2026 for the first time
This year's jury is characterized by an innovation: for the first time, it will be led by a co-chair. Lara Jelinski, Chief Growth Officer Central Europe and CEO Media Switzerland at Dentsu, and Daniel Fischer, Positioning & Planning Lead at Swiss Re, are sharing the leadership. The new management model combines perspectives from the agency and corporate worlds and, according to the press release, stands for a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach.
Lara Jelinski emphasizes that the jury is not only top-class, but was also designed for the first time through an open application process: «As a result, it impressively demonstrates the breadth, diversity and quality of the Swiss marketing and communications scene today. The Effies stand for measurable impact and demonstrable effectiveness - and it is precisely this responsibility that we are now meeting with great professional depth and openness.»
For his part, Daniel Fischer is looking forward to the professional exchange: «A good jury day is like compact further training. And above all, I'm looking forward to being able to award the best of the outstanding work with one of the most relevant industry prizes in Switzerland, an Effie.»

Clear criteria: Problem, idea, effect
At the heart of the evaluation is a clear logic: a relevant problem, a convincing idea and the demonstrable effect of implementation. According to the Co-Presidium, it is not the amount of data or the volume of a campaign that is decisive, but the clear, focused and comprehensible evidence of the impact in relation to the budget used.
The submitted cases are evaluated according to a structured, international criteria grid. The focus is particularly on the objective, strategic approach, implementation and the results achieved - with the aim of assessing the effectiveness of a campaign in an objective, comparable and fact-based manner.
Two-stage jury work
The jury work takes place in two stages: Jury 1 evaluates all submitted cases and determines the shortlist. Jury 2 will determine the bronze, silver and gold Effies from the finalists, which will be presented at the Award Night on November 19, 2026.
The jury is made up of representatives from a wide range of disciplines. This diversity is intended to ensure that campaigns are assessed from different perspectives and that strategic, creative and economic aspects are included in the evaluation.
Campaigns can still be submitted until May 22, 2026. The full jury and all further information can be found at https://www.effie.ch retrievable.
