Edi.18: These 69 films have made it onto the shortlist
The Edi.18 is again a great vintage with very many excellent works. A total of 69 films made it onto the shortlist.
A total of six different jury teams with 59 professionals visioned over 300 films during one week - each film was viewed and evaluated individually. According to the announcement, the submitted works have a very high level and for a shortlist nomination it needs that certain extra quality and creativity. Swissfilm Association congratulates all nominees for their excellent performance. The Edi.18 winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on November 1. Statistics of the 69 nominated films:
- 32 different film production companies, of which the frontrunners are Shining Pictures (5 nominations) and Plan B Film (4 nominations)
- 32 different agencies, of which Jung von Matt / Limmat and Publicis Communications are the favorites with 4 nominations each.
- 53 different clients, of which Digitec Galaxus and Migros each nominated three different works
