Coop.ch is Digital Commerce Champion 2020

With a participation record of over 170 online store applications, the Digital Commerce Award 2020 once again brought together numerous personalities from the Swiss retail industry on site at the X-Tra and this year also in the live stream. For the jury, consisting of 22 e-commerce experts from Switzerland, Germany and Austria, it was, as always, no easy task to determine the winners.

Successful omni-channel experience

The coveted top champion award went to the new omni-channel platform Coop.ch. The jury particularly praised the successful merging of the online presences of Coop@home, Coop.ch, and Mondovino, as well as the unique link to the offline business: For example, product availability can be called up in real time and in one's own favorite stores - a masterful achievement and a successful omni-channel experience, especially in the supermarket sector, the experts found.

Sustainability category

This year, the new sustainability category deserves special mention. Swiss consumers are also increasingly demanding ecological alternatives and transparency when shopping online. With its eco concept store Rrrevolve.ch, this year's category winner meets these customer needs in an appealing and original way, according to the jury.
