"CMO of the Year 2024": the nominees have been announced

The jury has shortlisted five candidates for the 2024 «CMO of the Year» title. As in previous years, the candidates« achievements were evaluated based on the criteria of »personality,« »success,« »innovation,« »customer focus,« and »sustainability.”.

As part of the selection process, each jury member nominated two candidates in advance. From these, the Institute for Marketing and Customer Insights at the University of St. Gallen made a pre-selection and also created a profile of the people who made it into this initial selection, which in turn served as the basis for the jury to assess their performance.

The judges then met high above the rooftops of Zurich in the Clouds restaurant to select the nominees. After discussions and voting, five favorites emerged: Joséphine Chamoulaud from Smile, Jan De Schepper from Swissquote, Christian Gut from Stöckli Swiss Sports, Nathalie Noël from V-Zug and Saskia von Moos from Intelligentfood.

Who the title "CMO of the Year" 2024 The winner of the award, who will succeed the current title holder Martin Baumüller from Geberit, will be unveiled in front of invited guests at the exclusive Award Night on August 22 in the Papiersaal.

A jury nominates the candidates, whose proposals are analyzed by the Institute for Marketing & Customer Insight at the University of St. Gallen under the direction of Prof. Dr. Sven Reinecke, Managing Director of the Institute for Marketing & Customer Insight. The jury, consisting of experts with many years of industry experience, ensures the high prestige and intrinsic value of the award through its selection.
