Preserving Identity, Expanding the Brand Globally

The Club 55 jury emphasizes that Elsener has achieved international expansion and brand growth without compromising the company’s identity. Evidence of this approach is the foundation model he helped shape, which is designed to safeguard Victorinox’s independence and combine economic strength with a commitment to public service.

René Michael Weber, president of Club 55, summarized the jury’s decision as follows: «Carl Elsener demonstrates that great brands aren’t built on noise, but on clarity, consistency, and values. He doesn’t think in terms of quarters, but in terms of generations. That is exactly what the Lifetime Award stands for.»
