ADC Switzerland opens Call for Entries and introduces innovations
The ADC opens submissions for the ADC Awards 2018 and announces important innovations in the photography and editorials categories as well as for freelancers.
Work can now be submitted to ADC Switzerland online at Adc.ch for the judging process taking place in March. The closing date for entries is February 19, 2018. Entries can be submitted not only in the classic advertising categories, but also in categories such as design, photography, illustration and now PR. Judging will be based on qualitative criteria, with 7+ and 3Q providing assistance.
The best advertisers, designers, filmmakers, programmers, photographers, illustrators, musicians, direct marketers, PR specialists, graphic designers, copywriters, concept developers, media planners, innovators, inventors, etc. are invited.
The club announces the expansion of the photography category: this is more attractive thanks to the newly defined sub-categories of architecture, interior, landscape, fashion, beauty, people, portrait, reportage, documentary photography (news, sport, etc.), still life and food. Only commissioned work will be judged.
In addition, the photography and illustration category now distinguishes between companies and individuals/freelancers, who pay greatly reduced submission fees (from CHF 200 for a single submission) after prior approval by the ADC office.
Next year, the ADC Awards - the judging of the Art Directors Club Switzerland - will take place on March 20 and 21. Works published between January 1 and December 31, 2017 will be judged in 18 categories.
The Call for Entries can now be downloaded at Adc.ch.
In 2018, the ADC will once again present itself to the public from March 19 to 23 with the Creative Week in cooperation with the Design Department at Zurich University of the Arts. All submitted works can be viewed before the judging on Monday, March 19, 2018 at the ZHdK.
