Angelink is looking for everyday heroes for the Basel Cantonal Police
The Basel-Stadt Cantonal Police is relying heavily on social media to recruit police cadets. To draw the attention of more potential police officers to career opportunities in Basel, the promotional app «I Am a Hero» has recently gone live on Facebook.
With or without a wink, participants can enter and share their heroic deeds, big and small, and be celebrated and voted for in a galactic gallery of heroes. Of course, all visitors will learn that the Basel Cantonal Police are always on the lookout for heroes for the police service. There is a whole range of adventure prizes to be won, such as a sightseeing flight in a police helicopter over Basel, a self-defense course or a day visiting the operations center.
