Agency at the airport wins German Design Award 2013
For the 2013 German Design Award, the independent jury of experts selected 90 winners in nine different categories from among more than 1,500 nominees. In the 'Communication Tools« category, the agency at the airport was honored for its self-dissolving textile mailing.
The creative team from Altenrhein developed the mailing for the Swiss Textile Federation, the agency said in a press release on Friday. The German Design Council is an independent and internationally active institution that aims to strengthen the general public's understanding of design. Established as a foundation in 1953 by resolution of the German Bundestag, the German Design Council promotes good design with its competitions, exhibitions, conferences, seminars and publications.
