662 marketing professionals awarded


More than 1,300 people from all over Switzerland and neighboring countries took part in the national diploma ceremony for the new marketing specialists with a federal certificate last Saturday in the KKL Lucerne. A total of 820 candidates took the challenging exam; 80.7 percent of them succeeded. The overall grade point average for 2015 was 4.37.
New competencies, new knowledge, new security
Andreas Balazs, president of the examination board, congratulated the newly graduated marketing specialists in his speech: "This training forms the foundation for your long-term success. You now have proven professional skills, which you will continue to develop. By enriching your knowledge with experience, creativity, inventiveness and also intuition, you will succeed in implementing your tasks successfully and profitably for your clients. " For this, Balazs wished "a lot of energy, great ideas, an ounce of luck and, above all, a lot of fun while performing your future marketing tasks."
Swiss Marketing President Uwe Tännler, who was also present, congratulated the successful graduates and pointed out that membership of Swiss Marketing secures the profession. As one of the many examples, he cited the European Certificate, which makes Swiss Marketing degrees comparable across Europe and thus offers an additional opportunity for success.
Excellence honored
Corinne Städeli was honored with the Swiss Marketing Award 2015, the "Oscar" of Swiss marketing.Other top performers in the written subjects were: Caroline Tracey Meier (Marketing Concept); Gina Grossenbacher (Integrated Communication); Andrea Fischer (Sales & Distribution); Linda Finelli (Market Research) and Andrea Rogenmoser (Accounting/Controlling). In the oral subjects, the following were awarded: Tamara Springer (Marketing Concept); Fabiana Würgler (Integrated Communication) and Bruno Berner (Presentation and Communication Techniques).
Inspiring show acts
The graduation ceremony of the Marketing Professionals 2015, which was once again charmingly hosted by Melanie Winiger, featured a whole series of well-known show acts. Among them were the breakdancers of the RockKidzCrew, the quick-change artist Gögi and the bands Baba Shrimps and Take This. All the performers created a worthy festive setting for the main protagonists of the evening: the successful graduates of the marketing specialists exam, who are now ready for further career steps with their federal certificates. Ready for the world of business, where these proven connoisseurs and experts will make a difference.
