100-year season ticket for the HCD: Brinkertlück creates Graubünden's most coveted heirloom
Graubünden’s most coveted heirloom is up for a drawing: it’s a season ticket for the Davos Hockey Club (HCD) that’s valid for the next 100 years. Brinkertlück Creatives designed it on behalf of HCD sponsor GKB.
Field hockey Club Davos was founded 100 years ago. An anniversary that Graubündner Kantonalbank is celebrating with a very special gift. The long-standing sponsoring partner is known for its commitment to the future of all Graubünden residents and their homeland. So it comes as no surprise that the bank is now also looking to the future in a playful way and has a very special gift to mark the anniversary: an HCD season ticket valid for the next 100 years. A season ticket that lives up to its name.
But that's not all. For this ticket, which is unique in every respect, small contemporary witnesses from the club's eventful history and the HCD Museum were specially incorporated into the ticket. A piece of fabric from a jersey worn by goalkeeping legend Werner Bassani. A piece of wood from a stick from two-time champion Richi Bucher. A piece of metal from a blade and a piece of plastic from a puck - both unfortunately undated, as the information on them was destroyed in the 1991 fire at the ice rink building and HCD archives.
All of these items have been artfully integrated, making the season ticket itself a small museum. "This idea, which spans generations, underlines our understanding of effective sponsorship. One from which everyone benefits.
The club, the fans and their future," emphasizes Thomas Wieting, Head of Consulting & Projects Marketing & Communication at GKB. "And we may have created the most coveted heirloom in the entire canton with this campaign," Wieting suspects.
With an original look back and a wonderfully sustainable look forward, the main sponsor GKB congratulates the HCD jubilarian and looks forward to a lively participation in the raffle for the 100th anniversary season ticket at www.hcd.ch/de/100/tombola.
