1st Valais Media Prize awarded
On Monday, March 2, 2009, the 1st Valais Media Prize was awarded in German, French, Italian and English. It is intended to recognize outstanding articles and reports about Valais.
On Monday, March 2, 2009, the 1st Valais Media Prize was awarded in German, French, Italian and English. The aim is to recognize outstanding articles and reports about Valais. The prizes, each worth CHF 5,000, were presented by Urs Zenhäusern, President of the Valais Information Office and Director of Valais Tourism.
More than 50 pieces of work written about Valais and published between March 1 and October 31, 2008 were evaluated. With the journalism prize, the Valais Information Office aims to provide an incentive to take a closer look at the Alpine canton.
