What do people want during the Christmas season? A peaceful time with family, gifts, and a decorated tree? That's all ancient history...
At least that's what the customers of the casual dating platform C-date.ch say. According to their survey, users are said to be most active during the Christmas period. "Instead of meeting up with their loved ones for a festive meal, they prefer to meet up with strangers for casual sex," according to a C-date press release. In this context, the media office also offered to arrange interviews with sex therapists, users or the operators of the platform.
A good 65% of the users surveyed stated in the survey that they would like to or do casual dating during the Christmas period. In addition, more women register on the platform during the Christmas period than during the rest of the year. "Women seem to be becoming more and more active in fulfilling their sexual desires," says C-date founder Heinz Laumann. Other statements by Laumann are quoted in this very well-founded study, such as: "Women have sex to feel closeness".
