Last but not least: People fan
Volkswagen and DDB are helping to clean the air for Chinese children with a lovely little invention as part of a lovely little campaign.
In parts of China, the air is so polluted that even car manufacturers can no longer stand idly by. That's not really a bad thing, because the car industry has been a major contributor to smog for decades with its combustion engines. And made money from it. Modern cars, on the other hand, are probably no longer the main problem in areas where factories simply release their dirt into the environment unfiltered. And anyway, the air that comes out the back is supposed to be cleaner in smoggy areas than the air that the car sucks in at the front. This is of little use to the Chinese children who go to school in such a hostile climate.

What helps, however, are concrete measures that make the air tolerable, at least indoors, even without prohibitively expensive air purification equipment. VW and DBB China had the idea that the elaborately developed filters, which clean the interior air of Volkswagens of all pollutants, could also be repurposed. Fold a piece of cardboard, insert the filter and place it over a fan - and the high-tech air purifier is ready. "Clean Air In A Box" is the name of the project in which schools are supplied with the "kit". Using existing technology for a good cause. And generate some attention for your own cause. A good idea!
