Last but not least: ROG invites you to talk to blogger Yoani Sánchez

Reporters Without Borders (ROG) Switzerland is hosting a special matinee screening of the film «Forbidden Voices» on May 18 at the Riffraff cinema in Zurich. Cuban blogger Yoani Sánchez will be on hand at the event to answer questions on the topic of freedom of information.

At the same time, the film's director, Barbara Miller, will receive the Human Rights Film Award from the World Association for Christian Communication (WACC) and the Catholic World Organization for Communication (Signis) at the event.

"Forbidden Voices" portrays three bloggers who stand up for the right to freedom of information under the most adverse circumstances - and exercise this human right wherever possible: Farnaz Seifi from Iran, Zeng Jinyan from China and Yoani Sánchez from Cuba.

The documentary with the subtitle "how to start a revolution with a laptop" has been shown at various festivals and will now be shown again at a matinee at Riffraff 1 in Zurich on May 18. (uma)
