Last but not least: Peace Greenpeace
The winners of Greenpeace's #McGen design contest have been announced.
The task was to design a campaign motif to persuade McDonald's to abandon genetic engineering in its chicken products. 380 creative entries and more than 980 variations of these ideas were submitted. As Wuv.de writes, Greenpeace wants the campaign to draw attention to the fact that McDonald's has been using genetically modified soy in its meat production again since April of this year, after 14 years. The campaign is also intended to raise awareness among consumers, because the products do not have to be labeled accordingly.
While some of the campaign ideas are more moralizing than inspiring, on the whole they are absolutely worth watching. (uma)
