Last but not least: Naked men on priest stick
The Catholic Church in Ireland is in crisis - new child abuse scandals have repeatedly come to public attention in recent months. Now an embarrassing porn scandal is rocking the church.
Imagine the following scene: An Irish priest wants to inform about First Communion at a parents' evening. 26 parents and one child are eagerly following the PowerPoint presentation and listening to the words of the priest. Suddenly, gay porn images appear on the screen. According to the BBC, 16 of them. They are on a USB stick that the priest has connected to the computer before the presentation. The priest, by now probably snow-white or bright red in the face, reflexively pulls the stick out of the computer and leaves the room without delay.
A silly childish prank or an embarrassing mishap on the part of the godfather? The latter stubbornly claims that he doesn't know how the material got onto the memory stick. And one is inclined to believe him. Whatever the case, the timing of this mishap couldn't have been worse - the Catholic Church in Ireland has probably sunk another meter into the muck.
