Last but not least: McDonald's image cultivation

McDonald's Switzerland is further expanding its involvement as the main sponsor of the "Switzerland on wheels" mobility project.

McDonald's Switzerland is expanding its involvement as the main sponsor of the "Switzerland on wheels" mobility project. From May to October, anyone who likes to exercise can borrow bicycles, electric bikes, scooters and skateboards free of charge in Zurich, Bern, Thun, Lausanne and now also in Renens. Unemployed people and asylum seekers look after the rental stations and thus have something to do.
According to a statement from McDonald's Suisse, a balanced lifestyle requires a healthy diet as well as sufficient exercise. McDonald's wants to take responsibility and motivate people to do more sport and exercise in their everyday lives.

Are the days when McDonald's stood for unhealthy eating over? It seems that image cultivation has not quite caught on. There is an article on Presseportal.ch in which the American crime novelist Donna Leon talks about the importance of food. The headline begins with a quote: "I have never, I swear, been to a McDonald's."
