Last but not least: Know your target group, part 1, the singles
A survey by the dating platform Parship.ch reveals not much new, apart from the fact that the Röstigraben also exists in matters of love and that exactly a quarter of Swiss women and a fifth of Swiss men are without a steady partner.

In total, there are 1.129 million Swiss singles between the ages of 18 and 69. Most of them, namely 35%, are in the under-30 age group. However, on average they are only without a partner for two and a half months. The older you are, the longer people stay single: 78% of over-30s have been single for over a year, as a representative survey by Parship shows. Further findings of the study: those without a steady partner do not necessarily live alone: almost half of singles live with parents, children, friends or in shared flats. Not surprisingly, women and men have different living situations: a quarter of single women live with their children, compared to just six percent of men. On the other hand, 27% of men still live with their mother or are living with her again. The survey also shows differences between German and French-speaking Switzerland: at 18%, there are significantly fewer singles in French-speaking Switzerland than in German-speaking Switzerland (23%).
