On the occasion of RTL's 25th anniversary, TV personality Hans Meiser is having another big party. In keeping with the motto "Don't mess, don't spill", cakes are laid out and celebrations are held on a conveyor belt. All a puff of cake? Was it all just staged for the TV audience? According to the media service Kress, Meiser's production company Creatv is in insolvency proceedings. What a shame, as it was only yesterday that the unforgettable talk shows "Hans Meiser", "Bärbel Schäfer" and "Oliver Geissen Show" were generating huge profits for the company.
Meiser himself probably didn't really believe that the sophisticated talk shows would be so successful. Otherwise he would probably have snapped them up himself. Because almost all the talk show hosts - including Bärbel and Oli - who grew up with him, left after a few seasons - along with their successful formats.
