According to the police officer himself, this shocked him so much that he was "permanently traumatized" and unable to work. According to Spiegel.de, an administrative court has now recognized the incident - as an industrial accident. The judge responsible based his decision primarily on an expert report. It states, among other things: The police officer had still experienced years later that "during intimate contact with a woman, he was overcome by the obsession with the image from the email and then actually had to check whether she was not afflicted in a similar way by an illness or comparable condition".
