Last but not least: Goldberg with the cold snout
The dog food manufacturer Beneful has developed a Goldberg machine with the help of some four-legged assistants. The adorable contraption is, of course, going viral.
According to Wikipedia, a Goldberg machine is "a nonsense machine that intentionally performs a specific task in a cumbersome way, with numerous unnecessary detours and complicated individual steps. The cumbersome execution of a simple task has no practical use, but is intended to provide pleasure in observation."
These chain reactions have always been a pleasure. In the past at the Museum of Transport, today on YouTube. Especially when dogs take part for a change. After all, we all like dogs. It doesn't matter that the transitions were helped along by the computer and that the machine is less of a one-take than it seems at first glance. (hae)
